In La Paz we did some shopping for the festival: tent, insect repellent, UV textil paint... and left to Coroico.
Coroico: 1500m altitude, sub-tropical climat, which means wonderful vegetation but also numerous mosquitoes and midges. The festival was in a scool of a wee village, lost in the middle of the Andes: wonderful!
We were expecting something huge, but it was a 5OO people fetival organised by a lovely family; so similar to the one we have in Scotland! Amazing decorations (I discovered 3D dreamcatchers), very dark music, and appart from unending powercuts 2 days in a row, the festival was a bit of paradise! I even met that DJ who played in Cusco when Tom was biking in the Sacred Valley. Well, to conclude, big thanks to the Andean Tribe from Bolivia for their amazing work =)
At the festival we started a wee business of clothes designing, here are some pieces...
After the festival we stayed together with Paloma, José and the people of the crew to give a hand, and then when back to La Paz: a couple of days spent running after money in the babylonness of the city (because remeber, both my cards had be lost or stolen); enough to get insane!
So we decided to go back to Coroico for a week of relaxation. Life was great there, trust me! People of the crew included many Brazilians; I don't know much about them but that they smoke much and sleep much ^^

Now I'm back in Cusco, on my way to Iquitos to meet Tom. He's apparently doing great there, organising a psytrance night in a club next Saturday! We also plan to organise something for my birthday on the 5th of May. Then we might volunteer 2 weeks in the rainbow family in Iquitos, but shhh, let's not say to much about plans, any traveller know it's not reliable ^^
Lots of love until next time x x x
